Kimberly Goode is the Principal of the School in the Square High School. A proud bilingual educator and lifelong advocate for educational equity, she brings more than a decade of experience serving students and families across New York City. Before becoming Principal, Mrs. Goode served as the school's Founding Assistant Principal, during which she helped build systems to support strong instruction, an inclusive school culture, and student success.


Mrs. Goode believes that every student deserves a school where they feel seen, valued, and challenged to grow. Her leadership is grounded in the belief that relationships, high expectations, and access to opportunity are the foundation of student achievement. She is committed to developing graduates who are critical thinkers, problem-solvers, and change agents who positively impact their communities.


A Washington Heights educator and community partner, Mrs. Goode is passionate about creating a school environment where students, families, and staff work together to ensure that every young person is prepared for college, career, and a lifetime of meaningful contribution.
